Boomer Alley is a stand alone co-op level for
Left 4 Dead 2. Scripts modify the Director AI’s behavior, creating a level that features shifting difficulty, varied Special Infected spawns, and a large number of Boomers. Currently, the level is at Alpha, with an intended release midway through November.
Production time: 8 weeks at 20-25 hours per week

Design Goals
- Focused on quickly iterating on whitebox design to drastically improve gameplay quality.
- Alter the Director AI to create a continuous cycle of peaks and lulls in the action.
- Place static objects in specific locations to encourage players to remain on the critical path.
- Destroy walls and open doors to further refine the critical path.
- Use light and silhouettes to help the players orient within the level.
